A Horizon League occurs as college athletic conference whose members are in the midwestern United States. It was another time known as a Midwestern Collegiate Conference (or MCC), however changed its title then it would non exist as confused by using a Mid-Continent Conference, which also utilized a acronym MCC. A conference participates in the NCAA's Division We. It doesn't sponsor football, although member Youngstown State has a eleven in the Gateway Football Conference of Division We-AA, & Butler competes in the Pioneer League.
